Lesson 5: Navigating the Employment Maze

Question One

Answer A

That’s one way to do it.

When it comes to making money, there’s no one right way to go about it. If you think you have enough things to sell to keep you in the black for a while, go for it! However, you should know that there’s nothing wrong with working while going to school, either. In fact, studies show that students who work part time during college actually do better than their peers who do not. If you change your mind and decide to work, try not to commit to more than 10 or 15 hours each week. That will give you the best chance of striking a good balance between work and school activities. Remember—you have your whole life to work. College only lasts a short time. Make the most of it while you can.

Answer A: Start looking for things to sell. You and eBay are about to become BFFs.
