Lesson 2: The Magical World of Budgeting

Question One

Answer A

That's the way to do it.

While it’s tempting to go a little crazy, you realize that money has to last you awhile—and you don’t want to get stuck eating ramen noodles in the dark for the last two months of school. In fact, you think living on the cheap is kind of awesome (or at least that’s what you tell yourself). It makes the college experience feel more exotic. For extra help keeping track of your money, try using a budgeting worksheet or a service like Mint that keeps a running tab on your finances.

Answer A: Set up a budget and spend accordingly. Parental bail outs aren't your style.
