Lesson 5: Navigating the Employment Maze

Question One

Answer B

Look at you go.

There’s nothing wrong with working while you go to school. Studies have shown that students who have part-time gigs actually do better in college than those who do not. Generally speaking, though, it’s a good idea to limit your working hours. Try not to commit to more than 10 or 15 hours each week. That will give you the best chance of striking a good balance between work and school activities. Remember—you have your whole life to work. College only lasts a short time. Make the most of it while you can.

Answer B: Start hunting down job openings. You aren't afraid to work hard for your money.
